Zia's academy of roller skating & Wave boarding, is one of the finest sports academy existing in the city since 1989. Roller skating and wave boarding-these activities are extremely beneficial for children’s health. It builds up their stamina, increases agility, and boost concentration level. We develop skills of students in sports & train them for the very best.
Achievements
ZARS is the only skating academy in India who has been doing 16 years of persistent road rally on the occasion of Republic Day from Chowpatty to Colaba with the support of our beloved Mumbai Police.
ZARS has also organised 5 years of continual open speed skating championship where participants join from multiple regions of Maharashtra.

- Zia Shaikh - Founder
Coach Zia founded this academy in the year 1989. It all started with his personal interest in the particular sport which led him to establishing this fine academy. Earlier in days when he first started rolling on his skates all over the Mumbai city, not many people were familiar with this sports and the future of it. But Mr Zia constantly stayed in touch with this sport and he performed a big part in making it mainstream.
- Akbar Shaikh - Inline Certification Program Coach
Coach Akbar is ICP (inline certification program) coach and also co founder of Zia's academy of roller skating. When he entered the field, he took this sport to next level by expanding the academy and providing services to educational institutions such as Diamond jubilee school, St.Marys school ICSE, St.Peter's school and many more.
- Afzal Shaikh - Professional Speed Inline Coach
Coach Afzal himself is a state-level skating champion and one of the finest coaches in the field. Not only he has been a Mumbai district champion for 4 consecutive years but also he’s the youngest coach in the city. He specializes in polishing skills in pro speed skating, new generation game known as wave board, personalized training structure and diet plans, strength building off skate and onn skate.
Together our team has covered 80% of the city and provide professional skills to children and prepare them for the bright and active future!
